Up until now, a film shooting job has meant one thing above all - packing a lot of suitcases, loading them and somehow storing the material. A change of material meant designing new inlays, having them milled and finding out afterwards that the inlay is not, or only partially suitable for the material to be transported.

“From a young age, I’ve known I wanted to become a cameraman and after my education and internship as rigger, I officially became an all-round cameraman in 2000, and have been enjoying it passionately ever since!

With camRade being an official brand for protective bags and cover for cameras and production gear for more than 20 years already, we thought it was time to give you an impression of what kind of company we are, how much care is put into the production of our camRades and when these products are at their best. The idea of making our own movie was born!

camRade as Video Village Outside Broadcast Partner

When we at Video Village started planning our broadcast coverage of the 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, one of the things we knew we had to prioritize was how to keep our camera  equipment safe and dry in changing weather conditions across Europe.

DoP Joas Burggraaf has been working passionately on numerous feature films, commercials and corporate movies for more than 15 years now. But he did not grow up knowing he wanted to become a cameraman.

Rene Lunshof is a Dutch Freelance Cameraman who is specialized in ENG camera work. He does a lot of work for news networks like RTL News, EditieNL and FOX Sports, which are broadcasting nationally in the Netherlands.

His material can be seen in many TV programs, documentaries, feature films and commercials including the Oscar-winning "An Inconvenient Truth", "The Avengers, "Into the Storm", "Lucy", "Tomorrowland", Disney's "Cinderella" and "The Current War."
