The camRade wetSuit Blackmagic URSA Broadcast is a soft and flexible rain cover that protects your camera against the elements. This cover is tailor-made for the URSA Broadcast camera from Blackmagic Design.
This wetSuit exists of one piece covering the viewfinder, microphone and other accessories. The special near silent fabric reduces unwanted sound effects that might be caused by wind and rain.
Whether you use the camera as a handheld or on a tripod, the cover can be closed off neatly with the multiple zipper system on the bottom.
The cover has a clear vinyl window on the side which can be opened and closed with hook and loop fasteners. This allows good visibility when you need to adjust the menu, audio input select levels, etc.
This item will be delivered to you in a waterproof pouch with zipper, which you can use for storage and transportation of the cover when not in active use.

1 Waterproof storage pouch with zipper
Every custom-made wetSuit is different of course, but we can give you some general pointers:
- Open up all the zippers and hook and loop fasteners and fold the wetSuit open as much as possible
- Make sure all items you want to use on the camera are well attached
- Place the body of the camera into the wetSuit, to wards where the zippers close
- Fold it around the camera body while closing it one fastener/zipper at a time
- Close the elastic strap around the lens
- Separate items supplied are best to fit on the camera after the body of the camera is covered
Our wetSuits are made of a special water-resistant fabric and can be cleaned with a moist cloth with water (if desired with mild detergent) or can be washed in the machine at a low temperature setting (maximum 30°C) and mild detergent. Air dry.
